TokyoCafe

Its been awhile since our  last food trip. This time we tried Tokyo Café located at the MegaMall. As I’ve pretty much lived a monk’s life for the past months, I have no idea if this place is old or new. Anyway, we were excited to try it out.

Outside, the place was lined with wooden chairs and table but the inside was quite nice, one side decorated with framed posters of the restaurant and the other, with shelves with  books and framed pictures.

To have the authentic feel of Japan they play music by Japanese artists.
 We ordered:
for starters the Teriyaki Chicken Salad
 my sister picked the Omurice
 the Pork Shogi Yaki:

while I tried their Chicken and Cheese Roll
and for our drinks we all ordered their Iced lemon tea
(this before my sister said it was the coffee they were known for) :-(
The salad was watery but the taste is okay. The Omurice according to my sister was not prepared the way she knew it was done and frankly I just wanted to eat the egg on top. While the Pork Shogi Yaki was a little better and finally the Chicken and Cheese Roll served were it not for the cheese in the middle would have been just plain deep fried chicken. All in all it wasn't quite as what we've expected.

Just me,
