Army Navy Burger + Burrito

Okay for our next food trip we tried Army Navy Burger + Burrito. 

The branch in Greenhills was quite small but every wall had chairs and tables but it can be a tight squeeze once people (mostly teenages) come in.

Its walls were decorated with posters and signs: 

Tables had this sign suggestion

We ordered:

Tacos with additional cheese dip

the burritos of course

tacos soup

Strawberry milkshake 

and last but not the least the classic burger.

Honestly, except for the milkshake, everything tasted bland. I guess that's why the table had a sign suggesting additional toppings for the burgers. For me the taste and the price didn't add up right.

Father's Day

For Father's day we took our dad out for dinner. At my brother's suggestion (lately he has been influenced by Korean dishes) - we ate at Dong Won Garden Restaurant located at Jupiter Street in Makati. According to my research they serve authentic Korean dishes. 

We got:

 

A variety of "appetizers"

The bibimbap

I forgot what this dish was called.

Noodles should be eaten as soon as it has been served. Otherwise, it turns rubbery and would be very difficult to eat. It was only later that I found this out when I got to research on the place.

and Dumplings.

Somehow, the taste wasn't as I expected. If someone invited me to dine in there again I'd really think twice.  But fortunately my Dad enjoyed it. This was his day anyway.
