Omakase

For our latest food trip, we opted to go Japanese. Which I met with a little trepidation. I dreaded using the chopsticks. I still haven't mastered that art.

This time we went to Omakase in Greenhills. Although, as I've found out, this is not a new restaurant.

A big kokeshi doll and water fountain will greet you upon entering the place. There are some benches lined inside for costumers who are waiting to be seated. The eating area is located at the second floor. We got in just before lunch time that's why we got seated quickly.

One of the big kokeshi dolls adorning the restaurant:

I ordered a Bottomless Raspberry Tea which tasted a little kinda like the medicine for kids. I suggest you try the other tea instead. The good news is that you have the option of changing to the other one it if its not to your taste. :)

For appetizers (if you can call it that) we got the sushi boat. Its a feast for the eyes.
Sushi BoatYum yum! everything on it tasted good.
The Bento meal also includes  miso soup and gelato (ice cream). This meal is enough to fill you up.

I actually thought my brother was joking when he said he'll have a squidward.

And also upon his recommendation the spider maki:

Overall the taste was very good and very filling and for the price I would say its just right. As for my chopsticks skills ---I have a long ways to go. ;)

Just me,
