As soon as we have freshened up, we decided to find the Avenue of Stars. So off we went armed with our map. The very first stop we made and the very nearest one is the Kowloon Park.

There were a lot of constructions or renovations going on at that time. We just walked along the road and saw a McDonald’s restaurant. This made us laugh, it seems that every corner in Hong Kong is literally littered with it. Which is a blessing.
The Park had lots of flowers. I almost died with happiness. I just love flowers. We saw some people taking pictures, that made me a little bit relaxed and not so conscious when I took some photos.

Then off to Avenue of Stars. We got into a bit of confusion as to how we can cross the other side towards HK Space Museum the road was closed off to pedestrians. The expression so near yet so far came into mind. Anyway, we finally figured out that we had to go down the subway. Its like our walkways in Makati only air conditioned. We also had to go inside the mall to reach our destination. Finally! The Avenue of Stars:

There were a lot of people when we got there. We had to be very fast and strategic when taking pictures. Some students even approached us but we had to tell them that we didn’t understand them. They always assume that if you’re Asian you must speak Chinese. Again there were constructions going on in that area.
We felt a little dehydrated and hungry around this time so we decided to go back to our hotel. We bought McDonald’s Double Cheeseburger for lunch. I didn’t want try anything new since I just came from a sickness.

We were picked up by our tour bus around 5PM for first guided tour to:

We got to ride the Peak Tram. Again there were lots of people at that time. Apparently, Fridays in Hong Kong is shopping day so most people are out and about.
When we got at the Peak, we first went to Madam Tussauds Wax Museum.

My sister and I had blast in that place. We tried to get pictures with every single wax figure. I think this took about half of the memory of our SD cards. =)

So on to the peice de resistance the View. Unfortunately, the skies seems to disagree with us. The winds were blowing hard and the skies were foggy or cloudy. I couldn’t get a very clear shot of Hong Kong. =(

The last stop for the day was night shopping at Mong Kok. But at this time my sister got sick in the bus. We decided to forego the shopping and go back to the hotel. Our Guide helped us get a taxi. As soon as we got back we just decided to buy tv dinner from 7/11:

Then we called it a night.
Next day’s agenda:
• Kowloon City Tour
• Shopping Tour
• Disneyland
Just me,
