Hong Kong Trip Day 2 (Part 1)

We’re pretty excited this particular day. That’s because it’s Disneyland day! But first breakfast. Our tour gave us coupons for Uncle 4. It’s located inside Victoria Mall which is conveniently located just beside our hotel. Here’s the menu: Here's what we ordered: We also had a choice of coffee or tea. Here’s the weird part, we ordered for hot coffee but what we got is coffee made with tap water! Apparently, that’s hot for them. Of course we never finished the thing.

Then our guide picked us up. First we’re to have a Kowloon City tour which consisted mainly of driving around. The only stop we made was in Victoria Harbour. Again, there were several tourists visiting the area at that time. So we had to be very quick in picking our spot for picture taking. Still cloudy that day and super windy.

We also had to avoid our tour guide who has this side business of taking pictures of the tourists and selling it for 150HKD! (Its printed on a plate). If you live here you know that you can get that for a very, very, very cheap price. But alas we got caught. But we never bought it.

Then we’re off to the jewelry tour. We already heard a lot about this. So we were pretty much prepared that we won’t be doing much. I’m not into jewelries.
Again there were several tourists aside from our tour group who came and visited the place. Must be a requirement in Hong Kong.

Then its time for the shopping tour. Okay, this is when my sister and I got pretty much excited. Finally, a chance to be able to buy stuff (even though this is not a shopping spree for us). Our tour guide was building up momentum by telling us stuff about what we can buy. So we arrived in an area that looked like a warehouse. But upon getting in and seeing the place, major disappointment ensued. The place was small and had very few choices to shop for. The prices were tourist prices I swear. Besides my sister who traveled to China before knew you can get it for much lower price. So no go.

So now, off to Disneyland. Before that though, our guides keep selling us stuff. This time it was key chains. Don’t these people ever stop?

Okay finally we reach Disneyland.

Do you know what happened next? It rained! What timing. =(

To be continued...

Just me,
