Hong Kong Trip Day 1 (Part 1)

Last weekend my sister and I went to Hong Kong. But before that we got a bit nervous when 2 days before I had a serious case of indigestion. In fact it was only the night before when I got to finish packing my stuff.

So off we went. My long time wish to have a window seat came true. Unfortunately, it was smack in the middle of the wing part of the plane. Nevertheless, I still got a picture of the skies.
We arrived at the Hong Kong International Airport at around 8:30 in the morning. It was pretty huge. We got a bit confused going to immigration. You’re supposed to ride a tram in order to get there.

In the airport, there are several maps available for free. We grabbed everything including a Chinese version of the map. These maps proved to be very useful. By the way in the Immigration section they’re also giving away candies. I got a couple. =)

So after we checked in with our tour guide, we waited awhile for the others who were also taking the tour. Then it was off to our respective hotels.

We checked in at the BP International Hotel in Kowloon. It was clean and spacious (that’s because we’re petite – we fit anywhere). Here’s the view we got from our room:

Our itinerary for that evening:
• Peak Tram Ride
• Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum
• Victoria Peak
• Night Market @ Mong Kok

Tomorrow I’ll Post our trip to these places.

Just me,
