So remember I told you about the chocolate cake that I wanted my mom to bake for me? Well, it finally came true this weekend. Yup the chocolate cake I've dreamed, craved and salivated on finally became a reality. My mom made the time to bake. She even got to use the new springform pan that my sister bought for us. It was not just a plain cake I tell you it was given the works. My mom placed ganache icing, whipped cream and strawberries on top. Yum-yum! We were supposed to take a picture of the cake before we eat it. But as soon as it was done we got so excited with it that we had to immediately taste it. As of this moment the cake is about midway through. It's a good thing that I get to arrive home first I get to taste it again this afternoon for snacks. Yummy!
