The Early Bird

And a good morning to you too. Yup this is Moi up very early this Thursday morning. It was supposed to be a little bit earlier but since all the underpasses here were closed (what are they protecting - the poster ads from being stolen?) I had to walk a way bit farther than the regular straight line. Every freaking corner of the street has a railing I had to find a spot where there's a gap. O well, I needed the exercise anyway. On the way, I had to stop by at McDonald's and buy breakfast (what? all that walking for nothing?). And so here I am in the office alone with nothing to do ( i just finished doing an assignment yesterday). By the way the coffee hasn't kicked in yet.

The reason why I am early is because my brother has a company outing today and he has to be in their meeting place by 6 am. Since I'm on his way he has asked me to go with him. Their job requires so much of their time and yet they were able to fit an outing in their schedule whereas here in my office zilch, nada, nothing not even a lunch out. Okay most people will laugh and tell you I never attended any planned outing. That's because the outings would always be after work not during. That's not the break from work i was looking for, that's like every weekend. (Okay now were two here in the office - I saw my officemate come in). Its just fun to have a day off from work with the company spending for you.

Now my legs are slightly aching. I feel their protest from the abuse that I gave them they are not used to this kind of torture. But we must endure we still have a long way to go before we get to rest at home.
