New Moon (Twilight Saga)

Got to finish New Moon by Stephenie Meyer just now. Still ambiguous as to what I feel about both books. I don't hate it but neither am I raving about it. I'm not much of a fan of Edward and Bella. Well if in the first book Twilight, Bella was gushing about Edward in this book she was just moping about him the entire time. But who knows? maybe true love can do that to you or just plain teenage angst. Bella is truly living up to her name - beauty, for apparently two guys are vying for her. Not just any guys but a vampire and a werewolf at that. Though I think I'm leaning more towards Jacob. But that's just wishful thinking since the entire time Bella's mind is focused on Edward.
But there was one thing that caught my attention that I think is truly an effective form of conveying Bella's feelings. The pages wherein only the months are written down and nothing else. I guess that says about what happened to her during those times. I guess the allusion to Romeo and Juliet didn't help matters. Honestly I don't see anything romantic in killing oneself no matter what the reason is.
I still rate this book as 4 out of 5 just because I'm truly curious as to the outcome of the saga.
