Reunion of Friends

Had a blast last Saturday night. I met up with some of my friends. This was supposed to be a post birthday celebration. It almost didn't push through since Irene lost her help. So instead of the afternoon reunion we agreed upon earlier it was reset in the evening.
I on the other hand, had clothing trouble. My jeans won't fit. Unless I sucked my breath the whole time I look for another. It was too late to ask where we were supposed to go. I was praying we won't be going into fancy places.
As was usual for me, I hitched a ride with Irene. It was also a chance to meet her children and husband. Irene's eldest is my godchild. Time sure is fast in terms of children. You don't realize it but suddenly they have all grown up (sigh).

We ended up eating at Max's in Greenhills. Anna and Che were arrived there first. Turns out Anna and her family came in early and had already a tour of the place. It was at this time that I found out that Peachy wont be joining us for dinner.

We tried to catch up from the last time we all met and at the same time reminisced about our common history which was college. Of course most of the time I just listened to these guys. I love listening to them talk and talk a lot they did. I bought my camera along of course but unfortunately I forgot to replace the batteries (hehehe). I got only a couple of shots with it.

We didn't want to leave Peachy out. So if she can't come to us then we'll all come to her. So we had a change of venue after dinner. We all went to Starbucks and finally met up with her. It was another round of talking and laughter. And lots of laughter that was. Peachy never fails to entertain us with her witty remarks.

Irene and I were the first to leave the group. But before we did. I asked that our picture be taken, this time using everyone's mobile phone camera. And then using bluetooth technology we had copies of each other's shots. I can't post the picture cause one of them doesn't want to.

Just me,
Zoe
