Pick a penny...

Talk about bad luck. Yesterday, on my way home, somebody dropped his 10 peso coin in the jeepney. I already saw it but decided not to do anything about. I had a previous experience with picking up money and it wasn't good. I was clearly avoiding any of it. But the people kept pointing at it but nobody was touching it (they probably knew more of what it brought about). I don't know but for the life of me I picked it up. In my head I was already thinking up of ways of getting rid. As soon as I got home I gave it to my Mom.
As my regular routine, I turned on our PC. Lo' and behold the PC won't work. Noooooooo! this can't be happening. The bad luck has already begun. I was so stressed and hungry at this time.
I got up and cooked my instant noodles. While I was draining said noodles the cover of its container suddenly burst and out came all of the noodles! Really all of this happening at the same time? This is not coincidence I tell you. I really wished I hadn't picked up that coin. The saying "see a penny, pick it up and all day long you'll have good luck" obviously didn't apply here.

Just me,

Zoe
