Yesterday my office mates and I did something that I never would have thought I'd take part in. Lie - just to get a picture of a couple of flowers. Okay it's like this, there's this flower shop near our office and every lunch time we pass by there and see the flowers they're selling. As you know, I am a self-confessed flower-holic. I really wanted to get a shot of the flowers. Not all Shops allow picture-taking. So I was daring Sim (Culprit #1) to go in the shop and ask about the flowers while I secretly take pictures of the flowers. I only did this in jest you know. Until one finally he just said OK let's go and went in. Inside a guy greeted us and we asked a couple of questions. Then silence. Awkward silence. Suddenly Jo (Culprit #2) speaking in a somewhat louder than usual voice asked us what was the flower that our friend Rodel was looking for? OK, for a few seconds I was confused. Rodel - who? Before I could say anything Glo (Culprit#3 - I think) asked "Who's Rodel?" By this time I got what Jo was trying to do. Jo replied with something like "you know our friend Rodel?" I was trying not to laugh. We replied by saying nope we had no idea what flower Rodel wanted and so Jo ask if we could just take a picture of the flower so that he could decide what he wanted. So I (Culprit# 4) got my phone out and shot the picture. My hands were shaking from laughing. That done, we said thanks to the clerk and got out of the shop. Outside, we asked Jo who was Rodel? She replied she didn't know, she was so busy thinking of the names of our other office mates but none came to mind except the name Rodel. Here's the picture of one of the flowers we stalked:
So now we have a new friend named Rodel - hope he does buy in the flower shop (LOL).
