To my avid readers (consisting of two) I'm baaaaaaaaack! I've been kinda busy for the past week - had to do a project which literally made me sick. Am still sick though (huhuhu) I am currently coughing my guts out as I type this posting...
On with my story...last sunday my sister and I ate lunch at McDonald's. At that time the place was packed with people even though it was way past noon. It was my first time to visit this particular branch of the fast food chain since its renovation. So it was a little refreshing to see the new look of the place. By the time we were able to get our orders we found a place to eat. While we were munching our quarter pounder which, by the way, my sister mistakenly thought of as double cheeseburger (I shall never rely on her eyesight again!). 2 of the McDonald's mascots came out. It was Grimace and Ronald himself! Apparently there was a birthday party at that time. I noticed that Ronald is sporting a new look. Did he get a facelift or what? Hehe. What was actually fun to see was that it was not only the kids who got excited but the adults as well. There were kids who so happy but there was one who got so scared she cried the whole time the 2 were there. Good thing with the digital age everyone got out there digital cameras or cellphones to take pictures of the mascots with their children. There were even teenagers who got to take their pictures with the mascot themselves. I personally wanted to take out my own phone and take pictures as well. I wanted to show it to my officemate and ask her if that was her underneath Grimace's costume. Grimace kinda reminds me of her. You see she loves to wear purple clothes that actually look and feel like Grimace. That's it for now.
