Busy as a bee

Had myself a busy weekend. First I rendered overtime last Saturday just so I could lighten my overly burdened load. But frankly the overtime barely made a dent. Just now I found out that there's another task that's been given to me. Don't this people ever think I have a life? Ahhh the pitfalls of being single. But that's another story. At least I wasn't alone, most of my team mates came to work that day which shows you that we are an overworked lot.

Then last Sunday, a couple of my friends and I went to Los Banos, Laguna. No, not for fun but for the wake of the father of one of our friends. It was fun seeing all of them again . The ride going to the place and back was an event in itself. Had myself laughing on the way even if I was mostly the butt of the joke. Sad that we all met under such circumstances but still for the most part e
enjoyable. On the way back we bought buko pies from Orient (said to be only branch which sold good tasting pies).
