I am now 10 days soda-free.
I was watching an episode of Oprah when Dr. Oz announced a challenge to the audience. To go for 2 weeks without drinking any sodas. I have been previously considering how to lose some weight, I have to, all my clothes don't fit!
As usual I have been doing what I do best - procrastination. So when I heard this challenge it got me into thinking. Why not start there? Soft drinks have been my number one food supplement. There never was a day that I didn't drink one. So I decided to take the challenge. But it really is a struggle. Well for one thing when I order and change my drinks to juice they ask you to pay an additional amount. Trying to be healthy is expensive around here. Then last Saturday when we went out for some groceries the kids in front of the line bought lots of coca-cola diet, regular, zero the works. It almost made me get off the line and get a bottle myself. I had more will-power, thank goodness!
