Mouse Potato

It has been 2 weeks now since our move to the new office and so far we had one incident in the pantry, a manager wanting to shut us up and still very limited access to the Internet. Of the three the last one makes me the saddest. I am constrained to limit my entertainment with the spelling bee found in Answers.com. I know so nerdy but hey I was that desperate. Anyway, while I was trying to tour the said site I picked up a new word - "Mouse Potato". Since I couldn't even research this item I had to wait until tonight just to find out what it actually means. I actually thought it was a new application which I can add to my blog and share. Well according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary a mouse potato is

a person who spends a great deal of time using a computer.

Kinda like a couch potato only instead of the television its the computer. Of late, I think this is the word that best describes me. I can't help it everything is found in the Internet. Which brings me back to my dilemma - my very limited access in the office. Well at least my vocabulary is growing if nothing else. As my friend Jo always says "count your small blessings."
