Stay-at-home

Had to stay home today since there's the transport strike going on. Even if there's still some taxis, the LRT and the MRT it's not enough to accommodate everyone. Hey the MRT couldn't even manage their regular load of customers much less the rest of the public. But still there are some brave souls out there who managed to get to work (that includes both my sister and brother). The question is will they get home without a hitch? We did try to see if we can get to the bank today but for the first time even the jeepneys in our place joined the strike. The farthest we got was the 24-hour convenience store around the corner. So I am literally stuck here at home.

I got my handy dandy new digital camera first thing in the morning and started shooting random shots hoping that I accidentally get a good one. You can see these shots here and here. I easily got bored though since there were no more fruits and flowers in sight. Flowers are my absolute favorite subject to photograph. I decided that I needed to learn a little bit more about the art to fully appreciate the use of my camera. So I went to the Internet and searched for free online photography lessons. Did I tell you that the Internet is fast becoming my best friend? Everything is in there! Suffice it to say I got some good ones and I am in the process of studying the materials I got.

Anyways, its siesta time but I can't sleep its too hot, summer has finally arrived. Hmm maybe I'll just eat some snacks.
