Forgetful Zoe

Twice in a row it happened. I left something in the office. The day before I forgot to bring home the bottle of ice tea I barely drank and yesterday I forgot my mobile phones. The ice tea I can live with but the phones? I have analyzed this and I found out the common denominator of these incidents...talking before going home. Talking? You say. Yes, talking. By talking with my office mates I barely know that the few minutes I still have fly by so quickly. By the time I realize that I should be going, I just grab my bag and sign off. Usually I check all my stuff while waiting for the minutes before I actually go. It's a good thing I was able to tell someone that I left them and she agreed to keep them for me. I just hope to remember to get my phones and not to forget anything this time.
