I just can't help it...

Well I wasn't able to buy that new pair of pants last weekend. I had to scrape off some money to pay all our bills. Just my luck that it all came in at the same time. That's life for you.

Last Friday was my mom's birthday. We just celebrated at home with take out food consisting of fried chicken and pancit malabon. My sister came home late from work but she brought home prawn pasta as part of our mom's celebration. Suffice it to say that my stomach that night was very satisfied indeed.

As I've mentioned we had to pay our bills last weekend. So my sister and I had to go to the mall. We were just there to pay the bills, eat and to cool off (it was hot that day). But being me I can't help but buy some stuff whether they be useful or not. This time it was a date stamp ,skipping rope and a couple of pocketbooks. Now the skipping rope I really planned on buying. I am trying to loose weight through physical means. Eating less is not an option. Maybe jumping can loosen up all the fat I've accumulated over the years.

As for the date stamp this is purely for fun. I just can't help it. When I was a child we used to be assigned as library assistants. We get to stamp dates on the back of the book. I got reprimanded by the librarian because I kept on stamping the date on the wrong column. It was her fault she never told us beforehand that we were supposed to stamp on a specified column. Anyway, I just love the mindless task off stamping. As soon as we got home, i stamped dates on my books, notebook and whatever else I could stamp on.

We lingered longer in the secondhand bookstore. My sister said that I could come back there some other time. But that's where she's wrong. By the time I get back to that store some of the books would have been gone. My motto is buy now or forever loose that piece. I got to buy two as can be seen on my reading list. There were a lot more books that day but I wasn't too sure of the authors besides I didn't have enough money that time. After a while, my sister and I headed off to home.
