Of Sad Love Songs and Serendipity

I felt like crying while riding the bus today. The radio was playing sad love songs in succession. Good thing it didn't last long it turns out that during Fridays the radio station's playlist consisted of old songs. If it lasted any longer I would emoting right now.

Do you believe in serendipity? That was my favorite term last summer. And no not because something happened to me or my love life. I just like the concept. Anyway on to my story. My friend gave me a text last night and told me a story. She met this guy last summer in review school. The guy was reviewing in order to take the bar exams again. He took the first one ten years back. it was also ten years ago that my friend was in 2nd year law school and at that time the guy was reviewing in the same school she was in. Ten years later they actually meet and got to know each other. Isn't it amazing? They found each other after all these years when there was a chance they might've met earlier. Maybe this is the right moment for them. It must be that time of the month.

Speaking of month, its just 5 days away from Valentine's Day. I wish I had thought of a small business to take advantage of the occasion. Sigh.
