Some firsts

I'm so excited I get to use all my vacation leaves (VL) this month. Well not exactly all since our personnel hasn't updated all my leaves. I still have 2 days of VL left which will be carried over next year. Now I can prepare for Christmas and get to practice playing the guitar. Hurray!

Yesterday was our Company's Christmas party. It was really a humble gathering, a far cry from the previous parties held. It was in deference to the victims of the previous typhoon "Reming" which hit one of the offices located in Legaspi. Well come to think of it, I believe that this is the saddest Christmas season in the office. We didn't even have exchange gifts.

This is also the first Christmas that my older sister will not be with us. She works in Australia and will be spending her first Christmas there with the Koalas and the Kangaroos. If she knew how to cook she won't be missing much though.
