Now I'm really really sick. Still here I am in the office. Why? Are you kidding me? Free aircon 24/7 duh! :-)
Today everyone in the city is waiting in anticipation for the coming typhoon locally named as "Reming" ( I think its international name is Durian - it must smell different). Classes are suspended but for the working masses life must go on. We must earn our keep and do our duty as taxpaying citizens. Others are preparing for the worst, stocking up on supplies and fixing up their houses against the typhoon. They wouldn't want another disaster such as the previous typhoon brought the last time. According to the news we actually need this in order that we may increase our diminishing water supply. That's nature for you - give and take. Hopefully though it will not create too much damage to the city. We'll just wait and see.
Let us not forget that today (November 30) also marks the anniversary of one of our national heroes - Andres Bonifacio.
